Service to the community
The essence of Buddha's teachings is cherishing others and trying to make to them happy. Therefore in KMC Netherlands we try to provide service to the community. This is expressed in various ways. Firstly, there are many spiritual activities that are open to everyone, such as dropin classes, study programmes, meditations en retreats. Furthermore we try to create a beautiful and quiet environment where everyone can find peace and inspiration, for example by visiting our Temple of simply by walking through the garden. In addition there is the Hotel Kadampa Holland and the World Peace Cafe where people can experience the kindness and hospitality of the residents. We are also open to visits from schools and other groups and we provide mental support to those who wish for it.
All profits of KMC Netherlands are donated to the International Temple Fund which is used to build Buddhist Temples in all parts of the world. Nothing of it goes to individuals.
